Working style

As a Privacy Lawyer, having worked half of her career in Law Firms and the other half as an in-house within different industries, Noemí can provide the exact advice to help businesses accomplish their goals, balancing risks and efficiencies.

Noemí approaches stakeholders listening to their specific needs, interpreting the legal and regulatory framework from a pragmatic perspective and delivering practical, useful and effective solutions that move the business forward in a compliant way, depending on the client´s risk appetite, the size, the geographic scope, the activities they perform and the structure of the organization.

Noemí has a flexible and humble approach to the Privacy practice. But also, due to her past as a Regulatory/Administrative Law, Compliance and Pharma Lawyer, she has a broad vision and an enhanced capacity to analyze Legal issues from a wider perspective.

But most of all, she works with these internal rules in mind, for all her clients:

  • First examine what is already in place (if there´s anything) and try to leverage what already exists.
  • Then let´s build from there: each company has different risks depending on activities, countries where they operate, etc.; also, some companies have more budget than others, more awareness than others, more staff, etc. A Legal consultant should be helping the business do things in a compliant way, not to stop or over-complicate the business by implementing unnecessary complicated, expensive and difficult processes.
With 22 years of Privacy experience (plus the Compliance and Regulatory knowledge), my expertise allows me to provide fast and practical responses in an understandable language that the business will appreciate and will be able to implement immediately.
